Franck Bohbot is a French photographer and filmmaker in Brooklyn, NY, and Los Angeles, CA. He grew up in the suburbs of South Paris, and in his photography, captures the raw emotion of people in the city or of the city life. In one of his series called Levitation, he traveled to Paris, Madrid, New York, and Barcelona to take his pictures. All of his pictures were in black and white and very natural which stuck out to me the most and made me like his work. The pictures all look like they were candid of people in the streets, however, he made them look like they were floating. It wasn't a forced pose like those that make it look like someone is floating away on an umbrella or falling down. In an interview, he said he took his pictures with instinct instead of precision to make them look natural, which helped me to learn his technique and that will be something I'll use in my photography. Secondly, he said it only takes him 2 or 3 shots for each.
